IGTP and Leitat Collaboration Day to drive innovation in health
IGTP held a matchmaking event with the Leitat Technology Centre at the D-Factory facilities in the Zona Franca of Barcelona, as part of the Innomed programme. Two innovative projects from IGTP secure €300,000 in funding to advance the diagnosis and treatment of neurological diseases
IGTP has been awarded two grants in the proves de validació (validation testing) call for the 2024-2026 period. One focused on the diagnosis of dementia with Lewy bodies and the other on the treatment of a stroke.
Institutional visit of the Catalan Minister for Research and Universities to IGTP to learn about its research and innovation projects in health
Núria Montserrat, Minister for Research and Universities, visited the CMCiB. The aim of the visit was to gain first-hand insight into the scientific and technological projects carried out in fields such as bioimaging, experimental surgery, and the validation of new medical devices and therapies. Additionally, the visit provided an opportunity to further explore IGTP's impact on translational research and its contribution to health innovation.
IGTP secures over €3.5 million to establish a national network addressing challenges of myotonic dystrophy type 1
IGTP has been awarded €3,547,417 in funding to conduct the "DM1-Hub" project, coordinated by Dr Gisela Nogales Gadea, leader of GRENBA, with Dr. Arturo López Castel of INCLIVA serving as co-principal investigator.
