The 4th IGTP Retreat establishes itself as a key space to foster scientific collaboration at the Can Ruti Campus
More than 150 researchers from the Can Ruti Campus gathered for the 4th Retreat of the Germans Trias i Pujol Research Institute (IGTP), an event designed as an annual meeting point for the scientific community at the Can Ruti Campus.

Once again, the names of around thirty renowned professionals - from the Hospital and the Germans Trias i Pujol Research Institute (IGTP), the Fight Infections Foundation, IrsiCaixa, the Josep Carreras Leukaemia Research Institute (IJC), and the Institut Català d'Oncologia (ICO) - appear on a global list of scientists who have achieved the highest impact through their publications and citations.
La Marató Foundation funds two IGTP projects on sexual and reproductive health research
The IGTP is leading an innovative project on youth sexual health and participating in a second project funded by La Marató 2023, which has enabled the promotion of 26 research projects on sexual and reproductive health, led by 52 research teams. Yesterday, these teams received their awards at an event held at TV3. Of the funded projects, 10 are individual, and 16 are coordinated between two or more research centres.
Can Ruti welcomes students from Badalona for the Science Week
Nearly 200 baccalaureate and vocational training students from the Badalona institutes visited the centres at the Can Ruti Campus. The event "Open House, get to know the Can Ruti Campus up close", organised by the Badalona Education Service and IGTP, in coordination with other institutions on the Campus, has become a flagship initiative of the Science Week.
